Lubricating Role of Supply Chain Vertical Common Ownership in the Breakthrough of Key Core Technology: Evidence and Policy Implications From China

open access: yesAsia &the Pacific Policy Studies, Volume 13, Issue 3, September 2026.
ABSTRACT This study explores whether and how vertical common ownership along the supply chain plays a lubricating role in key core technology breakthroughs. Using a dataset of Chinese listed companies from 2007 to 2023, we find that vertical common institutional ownership significantly promotes the breakthrough of key core technology.

Dietary Diversity and Its Associated Factors Among High School Adolescent Girls in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 2025

open access: yesPublic Health Challenges, Volume 5, Issue 3, September 2026.
Dietary diversity among adolescent girls remains suboptimal, with many consuming limited food groups. Key factors influencing diversity include meal frequency, sweet food consumption, maternal education, and nutrition education. Low diversity increases the risk of micronutrient deficiencies, highlighting the need for targeted school‐based nutrition ...

Association mapping for canopy temperature under irrigated and rainfed conditions at 12 environments identified both known and novel genetic loci

open access: yesThe Plant Genome, Volume 19, Issue 3, September 2026.
Abstract Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) is the most widely cultivated oilseed crop and faces significant yield challenges due to drought stress. Canopy temperature has been proposed as an effective proxy for evaluation of differences in genotypic responses to water limitation, as well as indirectly assessing transpiration and stomatal conductance ...

Chromosome‐scale assembly of wheat cultivar Sumai 3, a major germplasm source for Fusarium head blight resistance

open access: yesThe Plant Genome, Volume 19, Issue 3, September 2026.
Abstract Fusarium head blight (FHB) is a devastating disease that severely impacts global wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) production. Sumai 3, a wheat cultivar widely used in breeding programs for its strong FHB resistance, has not been fully resolved at the chromosome level.

Transfer of Potentially Toxic Metal(loid)s From Ultramafic Soils in a Tri‐Trophic Food Chain Experiment

open access: yesEcological Research, Volume 41, Issue 5, September 2026.
Potentially toxic metal(loid)s (PTMs) bioaccumulated across a plant‐herbivore‐predator food chain. Irrespective of soil concentrations, female crickets actively selected PTM‐enriched leaves, while predatory mantids showed no developmental impairment. Trophic transfer of PTMs was rather influenced more by a function of intrinsic species traits than by ...

“Evil is Real and Attitude is Everything”: Applying Shattered Assumptions Theory to Worldview Changes Following Wrongful Conviction

open access: yesBehavioral Sciences &the Law, Volume 44, Issue 4, Page 694-708, July/August 2026.
ABSTRACT Wrongful convictions continue to occur at high rates. Research has revealed that negative posttraumatic cognitive changes are a risk factor for the development and maintenance of posttraumatic stress disorder, yet little research has examined whether exonerees experience posttraumatic cognitive changes, such as changes to their worldview. Thus,
