Multi-wavelength variability properties of Fermi blazar S5 0716+714
S5 0716+714 is a typical BL Lacertae object. In this paper we present the analysis and results of long term simultaneous observations in the radio, near-infrared, optical, X-ray and $\gamma$-ray bands, together with our own photometric observations for ...

Abstract Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) is essential for the US livestock industry and provides critical ecosystem services. However, a 30%–50% gap in forage harvested persists between farmers and research fields. This study surveyed 24 farmers in the US Midwest managing 38 alfalfa fields to identify practices that maximize forage harvested.

Detections of C2H, cyclic-C3H2, and H13CN in NGC 1068
We used the Nobeyama 45-m telescope to conduct a spectral line survey in the 3-mm band (85.1-98.4 GHz) toward one of the nearest galaxies with active galactic nucleus NGC 1068 and the prototypical starburst galaxy NGC 253. The beam size of this telescope

A peculiar multi-wavelength flare in the Blazar 3C 454.3
The blazar 3C454.3 exhibited a strong flare seen in gamma-rays, X-rays, and optical/NIR bands during 3--12 December 2009. Emission in the V and J bands rose more gradually than did the gamma-rays and soft X-rays, though all peaked at nearly the same time.

Man-Machine Control of Space Robots under Uncertainty [PDF]
Control problem of space robots is characterized by several challenges. The first one is that the area is full of uncertainties due to lack of information. Another difficulty is tasksharing between an operator and a partly autonomous robot.
