Forecasting Carbon Prices: A Literature Review

open access: yesJournal of Forecasting, Volume 45, Issue 2, Page 496-529, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Carbon emissions trading is utilized by a growing number of states as a significant tool for addressing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), global warming problem and the climate crisis. Accurate forecasting of carbon prices is essential for effective policy design and investment strategies in climate change mitigation.

Midlife and late‐life population attributable fractions of risk factors for dementia in the United States: The Dementia Risk Prediction Project

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract INTRODUCTION Dementia prevalence is associated with modifiable factors. We quantified the contribution of dementia risk factors in midlife (45–64 years) and late life (≥ 65 years) in the United States. METHODS Data from six community‐based cohorts in the Dementia Risk Prediction Project (DRPP) were used.

Best proximity point for weak cyclic Kannan type $F-$contraction map and cyclic Chatterjea type $F-$contraction map

open access: yesRatio Mathematica
In this paper, we introduce an innovative category of contractions termed "cyclic Chatterjea type $F-$contraction" and "weak cyclic Kannan type $F-$contraction." Subsequently, we establish a theorem for determining the best proximity point in a uniformly convex Banach space, specifically focusing on weak cyclic Kannan type $F-$contractions. Furthermore,

Logistics Service Providers' Business Models in the Circular Economy: A Systematic Literature Review and Panarchy Theory Framework

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, Volume 35, Issue 1, Page 1128-1164, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Logistics service providers (LSPs) can support the transition to a circular economy (CE) through their visibility over and facilitation of resource flows between supply chain (SC) actors. However, the proliferation of CE‐related terms, compounded by a manufacturer‐centric focus on CE culminating in knowledge siloes that result in an overall ...

Multiplicative modular metric spaces and some fixed point results

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
This study aims to introduce a novel type of metric, defined as the w-multiplicative modular metric space, which becomes an expanded idea that includes two metric spaces. We present and demonstrate some of this new space’s topological properties. We also

Bioactive Compounds From Agri‐Food By‐Products: Advancements in Environmental Sustainability and Bioeconomic Progress

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 1, January 2026.
Agri‐food by‐products are sustainably transformed into high‐value bioactive compounds through advanced green extraction technologies. This valorization supports circular economy goals and promotes environmental and bioeconomic progress. ABSTRACT The rapid growth of agri‐food industries has led to an alarming increase in waste generation, posing ...

New results on fixed point theorems in n-Banach spaces

open access: yesAnnals of the West University of Timisoara: Mathematics and Computer Science
In this article we prove a common fixed point result for interpolative Kannan type contraction mappings in a nonempty, closed and bounded subset with respect to n linearly independent vectors in an n-Banach space.
