A Voronovskaya type theorem for q-Szász-Mirakyan-Kantorovich operators

open access: yesJournal of Numerical Analysis and Approximation Theory, 2011
In this work, we consider a Kantorovich type generalization of \(q\)-Szász-Mirakyan operators via Riemann type \(q\)-integral and prove a Voronovskaya type theorem by using suitable machinery of \(q\)-calculus.

Kantorovich type operator inequalities for Furuta inequality [PDF]

open access: yesOperators and Matrices, 2007
In this paper, we shall present Kantorovich type operator inequalities for Furuta inequality related to the usual order and the chaotic one in terms of a generalized Kantorovich constant, a generalized condition number and the Specht ratio, in which we use variants of the grand Furuta inequality. Mathematics subject classification (2000): 47A63.

Nonlocal Lagrange multipliers and transport densities

open access: yesBulletin of Mathematical Sciences
We prove the existence of generalized solutions of the Monge–Kantorovich equations with fractional [Formula: see text]-gradient constraint, [Formula: see text], associated to a general, possibly degenerate, linear fractional operator of the type, ℒsu ...

Analyzing Convergence in Sequences of Uncountable Iterated Function Systems—Fractals and Associated Fractal Measures

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, we examine a sequence of uncountable iterated function systems (U.I.F.S.), where each term in the sequence is constructed from an uncountable collection of contraction mappings along with a linear and continuous operator.

Extending Kantorovich-Type Inequalities to Normal Operators

open access: yesAdvances in Linear Algebra & Matrix Theory, 2018
We will extend some of the Kantorovich-Type inequalities for positive finite dimensional matrices to infinite dimensional normal operators by applying The Two-Nonzero Component Lemma and converting them to an An-tieigenvalue-Type problem.

On the approximation of Kantorovich-type Szàsz-Charlier operators

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
Abstract In this study, we introduce the Kantorovich-type modified Szàsz-Charlier operators and examine their approximation properties within the framework of fractional modeling and control theory. These operators are defined using the Korovkin-type theorem, and their local approximation properties are analyzed ...

Inequalities of Furuta and Mond–Pečarić on the Hadamard product

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2000
As a continuation of (J. Mičić, Y. Seo, S.-E. Takahasi and M. Tominaga, Inequalities of Furuta and Mond–Pečarić, Math. Ineq. Appl., 2 (1999), 83–111), we shall discuss complementary results to Jensen's type inequalities ...
