Bi‐Level Coordination of Demand Response and Multiple Virtual Power Plants in a Distribution Network for Flexibility Assessment

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 14, Issue 3, Page 1505-1528, March 2026.
This study presents a hierarchical coordination framework where multiple VPPs interact with the DSO to optimize energy trades and flexibility offers. Each VPP aggregates DERs and DR, performing internal optimization, day‐ahead bidding, and assessing flexibility to reduce excess renewable generation and pollution.

Convergence by Class of Kantorovich-Type q-Szász Operators and Comprehensive Results

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, we primarily use Stancu variants of Kantorovich-type operators to investigate the convergence and other associated properties of new Szász–Mirakjan operators.

Blending type approximation by Stancu-Kantorovich operators based on Pólya-Eggenberger distribution

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2017
In the paper the authors introduce the Kantorovich variant of Stancu operators based on Pólya-Eggenberger distribution. By making use of this new operator, we obtain some indispensable auxiliary results.

A Choquet theory of Lipschitz‐free spaces

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 132, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract Let (M,d)$(M,d)$ be a complete metric space and let F(M)$\mathcal {F}({M})$ denote the Lipschitz‐free space over M$M$. We develop a ‘Choquet theory of Lipschitz‐free spaces’ that draws from the classical Choquet theory and the De Leeuw representation of elements of F(M)$\mathcal {F}({M})$ (and its bi‐dual) by positive Radon measures on βM ...

Asymptotic Properties for a General Class of Szász–Mirakjan–Durrmeyer Operators

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 2, Page 734-743, 30 January 2026.
ABSTRACT In this paper, we introduce a general family of Szász–Mirakjan–Durrmeyer type operators depending on an integer parameter j∈ℤ$$ j\in \mathbb{Z} $$. They can be viewed as a generalization of the Szász–Mirakjan–Durrmeyer operators, Phillips operators, and corresponding Kantorovich modifications of higher order.

SIMULTANEOUS APPROXIMATION BY SOME KANTOROVICH TYPE OPERATORS

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2005
Let \(p\geq 0\) be a given integer and let \(\alpha\), \(\beta\) be real parameters such that \(0\leq\alpha\leq\beta\). Taking into account the Stancu-Schurer operator \[ \widetilde S^{(\alpha,\beta)}_{m,p}: C[0, 1+p]\to C[0,1], \] \[ \widetilde S^{(\alpha,\beta)}_{m,p}(f; x)= \sum^{m+p}_{k=0}\widetilde p_{m,k}(x)\cdot f\Biggl({k+\alpha\over m+\beta ...

Digital Twin‐Driven Two‐Stage Bi‐Level Collaborative Operation Strategy for Multi‐Microgrids Considering Energy Sharing and Price Incentives

open access: yesDigital Twins and Applications, Volume 3, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
ABSTRACT To enhance the techno‐economic performance and robustness of multi‐microgrids (MMG) systems, this paper proposes a two‐stage bi‐level collaborative optimisation strategy integrating energy sharing and price incentives. In the day‐ahead stage, the shared energy storage operator (SESO) at the upper level employs conditional Wasserstein ...

Adaptive Multi‐Timeframe Reconfiguration of Smart Distribution Networks With Flexibility Resources Under Operational Uncertainty

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission &Distribution, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper introduces a hybrid deterministic‐stochastic framework for the multi‐timeframe reconfiguration (MTFR) of distribution networks, coordinating renewable resources and demand response under uncertainty. The proposed MTFR strategy, validated on the IEEE 33‐bus system, significantly reduces operational costs and energy losses while improving ...

Stochastic Transactive Energy Coordination of Integrated Multi‐Carrier Energy Hubs in Multi‐Microgrid Systems: A Two‐Stage Optimisation Framework With Energy Storage Integration

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission &Distribution, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This study introduces a two‐stage cooperative optimisation framework for energy management in integrated multi‐carrier energy hubs within a multi‐microgrid system. By combining hierarchical decision‐making, scenario‐based stochastic programming, transactive energy coordination, a novel cooperative allocation mechanism, AC optimal power flow analysis ...
