A versatile method was developed to fabricate hierarchically porous monoliths using UiO‐66/TOCNC composites as Pickering emulsion stabilizers. The resulting polyHIPEs, produced under mild and scalable conditions, showed confirmed structural integrity through TGA, XRD, SEM, BET, and FT‐IR.

EFFECT OF KAOLIN ADDITION INTO METAKAOLIN GEOPOLYMER COMPOSITE [PDF]
Industrially produced metakaolinmay contain raw kaolin residues. Therefore, the aim of this work was to determine the impact of kaolin remains on the metakaolin and the final geopolymer quality.

Tests on the effectiveness of kaolin and copper hydroxide in the control of Bactrocera oleae (Gmelin) [PDF]
Repellent and antiovipositional products in the control of Bactrocera oleae (Gmelin) find a great interest in organic farming, because of the lack of effective products able to kill the olive fly preimmaginal stages.

Hydrothermal synthesis and characterization of zeolite from Malaysia’s natural kaolin for adsorption of sodium ion (NA+) from seawater [PDF]
Zeolite-A is widely known as aluminosilicate mineral that has been intensively used as an adsorbent in the adsorption process for desalination. Desalination is a technique to eliminate sodium ion and other minerals in the water. Because of the nature

Efficacy of different insecticides and a repellent against the European pear sucker (Cacopsylla pyri) [PDF]
The efficacy of different insecticides (neem, pyrethrin, spinosad, and rotenone) and a repellent (kaolin) applied with different strategies (single or repeated applications) against the over-wintering pear suckers (Cacopsylla pyri) and nymphs of the ...

Molecular Insights Into the Water Freezing on Kaolinite Surfaces: The Key Role of Surface Properties
ABSTRACT Unfrozen water content is a key factor governing the physical properties of frozen soils, and variations in mineral surface properties play a critical role in determining this content. However, the fundamental physical mechanisms of how different mineral surfaces affect soil water freezing remain poorly understood.
