The main irrigation canals of the region, including the bed of the Yukhari-Karabagh canal, have high water permeability, as they are built from local soils.

Répercussions géopolitiques du conflit au Karabagh
2023La prise du Haut-Karabagh par les forces azerbaïdjanaises en septembre 2023 a modifié les rapports de force dans la région. L’armée arménienne s’est tenue à l’écart du conflit. Quant aux troupes russes stationnées sur place pour maintenir la paix, elles n’ont pas réussi à empêcher les hostilités.
