Bu araştırma 2009-2013 yılları arasında Çakırdağı’nın (Karaman) Florasını tespit etmek için yapılmıştır. Araştırma alanı Karaman ili sınırlarıve Davis’in Grid sistemine göre C4 karesi içerisindedir. Araştırma alanından 64 familya ve 275 cinse ait 531 takson tespit edilmiştir. Toplanan örneklerden 88 (% 16.6) takson Türkiye için endemiktir.
