Impact of soil hydrology on the hydrological recharge of karst regions - A model approach
Precipitation is a major natural control on the amount of karst groundwater resources. However, not all amount of precipitation in karst regions results in aquifer recharge, since evapotranspiration uses significant hydrological resources. We have developed a soil model that quantifies the recharge at different sites in Slovenia and Croatia.

Estimating Lake–Groundwater Exchange Using Hourly Water Level Fluctuations in Central Florida
With mounting anthropogenic pressures on groundwater supplies, practical methods for quantifying lake–groundwater exchange are critical for water resources management.

Hydrological Signatures of Karst Basins
Karst areas are ubiquitous worldwide and cover 20 % of Europe land surface. Physico-chemical properties of karst rocks promote surface water / groundwater interactions and thus favor specific flood processes at the catchment scale: fast infiltration, groundwater flooding, and interbasin groundwater flows (IGF).
