Vet Med SciA temperature difference was observed between healthy and inflamed gingiva in the alveolar mucosa, reflecting the influence of inflammation on tissue temperature. Gingival temperature changes are independent of systemic body temperature and anaesthesia affects gingival temperature in dogs.
