18β‐Glycyrrhetinic Acid and a Nano‐Liposomal Formulation Alleviate Depression‐Like Behaviors via the Microglial mTOR‐Autophagy‐NLRP3 Axis
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Using a novel zebrafish‐based inflammatory screening strategy, we screened and identified 18β‐glycyrrhetinic acid (18β‐GA) as a promising anti‐inflammatory candidate. We uncover a microglial mTOR–autophagy–NLRP3 axis that constitutes the mechanistic core of 18β‐GA–mediated neuroprotection.Hua Gan, Haitao Yuan, Wenjun Zhu, Xiaokang Xie, Shen Zhou, Wenzhi Hao, Xiaowei Mo, Lian Yang, Xiaojuan Li, Junshan Liu, Lijuan Deng, Jiaxu Chen +11 morewiley +1 more sourcePreserving Open Access Journals: A Literature Review [PDF]

Advanced Energy Materials, EarlyView. In this work, we developed a phase‐stability predictor by combining machine learning and ab initio thermodynamics approaches, and identified the key factors determining the favorable phase for a given composition. Specifically, a lower TM ionic potential, higher Na content, and higher mixing entropy favor the O3 phase.Liang‐Ting Wu, Milica Zdravković, Dijana Milosavljević, Konstantin Köster, Olivier Guillon, Jyh‐Chiang Jiang, Payam Kaghazchi +6 morewiley +1 more sourceIslands of linkage in an ocean of pervasive recombination reveals two-speed evolution of human cytomegalovirus genomes [PDF]

Animal Research and One Health, EarlyView.Genetic diversity, adaptation, wild introgression, and coat color mutation of golden yak from two populations on the Qinghai‐Xizang Plateau. ABSTRACT
The golden yak lives on the Qinghai‐Xizang Plateau with a golden coat and adapts to high altitudes and strong ultraviolet environment. The golden coat is a prominent phenotype in many domesticated species,Huixuan Yan, Jialei Chen, Chuzhao Lei, Fengwei Zhang, Shunzhong He, Weiru Song, Hongyan Ma, Shuling Li, Guomei Li, Laba Yongcuo, Jianlin Han, Johannes A. Carbon Energy, EarlyView.A micro‐plasma chip with sub‐10‐μm electrode gaps is introduced for efficient CO2‐to‐CO conversion. The device self‐converts a DC power supply into nanosecond pulses, producing field‐emission electrons that vibrationally excite CO2, driving dissociation via the ladder‐climbing mechanism. International Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.Abstract
Genetic tumor risk syndromes (genturis) contribute substantially to the overall cancer burden and provide opportunities for early detection, prevention, and individualized treatment. Yet, many affected individuals remain undiagnosed due to restrictive testing criteria and challenges in variant interpretation.Mayra Sauer, Morghan C.
