Multi‐state Photoswitching in Thienoquinoid‐Based Fluorescent Trithiophenes
A methine‐bridged trithiophene with a thienoquinoid core undergoes photoisomerization of both C═C bonds, affording three geometrical isomers in a ratio controlled by the irradiation wavelength. Despite full π‐conjugation, the system retains fluorescence, enabling wavelength‐addressable multi‐state switching with luminescent readout.

Robust, bio‐derived, and freestanding films based on cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs), covalently decorated with achiral fluorophores, transduce shape chirality and supramolecular helicity into near‐white circularly polarized luminescence (CPL). With composites covering the visible spectrum, near‐white, right‐handed CPL with high luminescence dissymmetry (

We clarify how Gibbs‐energy‐minimization models for aqueous‐amine CO2 capture fail when conservation constraints and concentration conventions are inconsistent. Exact standard‐state conversions and Reaktoro case studies show that P(CO2)‐loading fits can mask non‐unique parameters and wrong speciation, motivating complete water‐inclusive formulations ...

Review of CFD modelling techniques for single‐phase and multiphase flow in static mixers
This review synthesizes computational fluid dynamics (CFD) approaches for static mixers, linking hydrodynamics to pressure drop, particle/droplet distributions, mixing metrics, and heat‐transfer performance to guide modelling choices and design decisions. Abstract Static mixers enable compact and low‐energy intensification.
