Business Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Corporate shifts from fossil fuels to renewable energy are central to climate‐transition strategies, but their effects on external assurance have not been well understood. This study examines whether, how and where corporate renewable energy consumption affects the cost of external assurance, proxied by statutory audit fees.

Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.We report a reversible structural phase transition in a metal–organic framework (MOF) triggered by the exchange of coordinative guest molecules. This MOF consists of rigid 1D Pb–O rods as building units, forming a 3D framework with 1D pores. Guest exchange induces pronounced changes in both the Pb–O rod structure and the dimensionality of the framework.

Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.Treatment of BINOL with a boron subphthalocyanine derivative resulted in the formation of a complex coordinated to an oxa[4]helicene derivative, which is generated via a ring‐closure reaction of BINOL. In contrast, treatment of the monomethyl ether of 1,1′‐bi‐2‐naphthol (BINOL) afforded the expected axially coordinated complex.

Multi‐state Photoswitching in Thienoquinoid‐Based Fluorescent Trithiophenes
Chemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.A methine‐bridged trithiophene with a thienoquinoid core undergoes photoisomerization of both C═C bonds, affording three geometrical isomers in a ratio controlled by the irradiation wavelength. Despite full π‐conjugation, the system retains fluorescence, enabling wavelength‐addressable multi‐state switching with luminescent readout.
