Sc(III) Complexes of Pyclen Derivative Ligands as Probes for Hypoxia: Synthesis, Chemical Characterization, 44Sc-Radiolabeling, and Preclinical Assessment. [PDF]

open access: yesChemistry
Hypoxia‐sensitive nitroimidazole‐functionalized pyclen derivatives were successfully synthesized and radiolabeled with 44Sc(III), affording stable and inert scandium complexes. Remarkable Sc(III)‐binding capabilities of the PC2A‐mono(amide) platform enabled excellent radiolabeling performance, with ≥92–99% yields and ≥99% radiochemical purity. MicroPET
