The case of the Kepler DBAV star J1929+4447
A first pulsating white dwarf has been discovered recently in the Kepler field of view [1]. This star, catalogued as GALEX J192904.6+444708 or KIC 8626021, is a He-atmosphere white dwarf of the V777 Her (DBV) type.

Consensus on core domains for hand eczema trials: Signs, symptoms, control and quality of life
A core domain set for hand eczema was developed in an international consensus study with an online Delphi survey and a consensus meeting. Signs and symptoms of hand eczema, related quality of life and control over time should be measured in all future hand eczema therapeutic trials.

The number radial coherent states for the generalized MICZ-Kepler problem [PDF]
We study the radial part of the MICZ-Kepler problem in an algebraic way by using the $su(1,1)$ Lie algebra. We obtain the energy spectrum and the eigenfunctions of this problem from the $su(1,1)$ theory of unitary representations and the tilting ...

The Arrangement of the Osteons and Kepler’s Conjecture
The studies of bone tissue have mainly highlighted the morphometrical characteristics of the osteons, rather than their spatial distribution. This work aimed to verify if the topographical distribution of the osteons responds to geometrical order.

How Social‐Symbolic Work Changes Places
Abstract We advance the social‐symbolic work perspective by developing an understanding of places as objects characterized by location, materiality, function, and symbolic meaning and which can be changed through social‐symbolic work. Drawing from a longitudinal study of the ‘Empty Homes’ Programme in England, our analysis identifies an unfolding ...

Abstract Hubs and participants of mature ecosystems increasingly compete with de alio entrants that are hubs of more innovative ecosystems. Prior research shows how these asymmetric de alio entrants frame to win over participants from mature ecosystems and suggests that hubs of these ecosystems should respond by encouraging innovation among ...

Effect of GUP on the Kepler problem and a variable minimal length [PDF]
Various approaches to quantum gravity, such as string theory, predict a minimal measurable length and a modification of the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle near the Plank scale, known as the Generalized Uncertainty Principle (GUP).

The Conley–Zehnder indices of the rotating Kepler problem [PDF]
We determine the Conley–Zehnder indices of all periodic orbits of the rotating Kepler problem for energies below the critical Jacobi energy. Consequently, we show the universal cover of the bounded component of the regularized energy hypersurface is ...

Concerning an analytical solution of some families of Kepler’s transcendental equation
The problem of finding an analytical solution of some families of Kepler transcendental equation is studied in some detail, by the Special Trans Functions Theory – STFT.

Proofs, computers, and the a priori: Is there anything to fix?
Abstract This paper aims to answer several epistemological questions raised by the use of computers in mathematical practice; for this purpose, it uses the template for a conceptual engineering project proposed in Isaac, Koch, and Nedft 2022. Some interesting theoretical questions raised by this change in the methodology of mathematics are whether ...
