Papilliferous Keratoameloblastoma: Systematic review [PDF]
Papilliferous keratoameloblastoma (PKA) is a rare entity, and not much is known about its clinicodemographic features or biological nature. This review aimed to provide clarity regarding the characterisation of the demographic, clinical, radiological and

KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...

Complete Structure of an Epithelial Keratin Dimer: Implications for Intermediate Filament Assembly. [PDF]
Keratins are cytoskeletal proteins that hierarchically arrange into filaments, starting with the dimer sub-unit. They are integral to the structural support of cells, in skin, hair and nails.

We have developed a smart hair‐repair ingredient based on β‐carboxylic acid amide that undergoes negative‐to‐positive charge conversion under mildly acidic conditions. The initial negative charge facilitates deep penetration into the hair fiber, while the subsequent positive charge enables re‐bonding with sulfonate groups in damaged hair keratin.

The Tumor Markers Tpa, Tps, Tpa and Cyfra 21–1 React Differently with the Keratins 8, 18 and 19
The commercially available tumor marker tests TPA, TPS, TPA CYK and CYFRA 21–1 react with simple epithelium keratins. From clinical studies it can be deduced that the pattern of keratin recognition must be different for each of these tests.
