Among the less common diseases of the cornea is that known as dendritic keratitis, to apply the name which its appearance suggests, or mycotic keratitis, a name more in accord with its etiology. This disease appears, when fully developed, as a finely branched ulceration of the cornea, running a rather protracted course.
