Treatment of Seborrheic Keratosis

To the Editor.— The report of F. E. Mohs, MD ( 212 :1956, 1970), entitled "Seborrheic Keratoses: Scarless Removal by Curettage and Oxidized Cellulose" is deserving of some comment. Dr. Mohs has made other very valuable original contributions to medicine, but curettage removal is probably preferred by the majority of the breed of dermatologists.

Helwig's inverted follicular keratosis is a benign epithelial tumor appearing most commonly as a single lesion on the face of patients in the older age group.
