On QI-Algebras

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications, 2017
In this paper, the notion of a QI-algebra is introduced which is a generalization of a BI-algebra and there are studied its properties. We considered ideals, congruence kernels in a QI-algebra and characterized congruence kernels whenever a QI-algebra is

The Serial Effects of Callous‐Unemotional Traits and Gray Matter Density in the Right Dorsomedial Prefrontal Cortex on Social Desirability

open access: yesPsyCh Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Social desirability affects several aspects of human life. However, the neuropsychological mechanisms underlying individual differences in social desirability remain unclear. This study explored the neuroanatomical basis of individual differences in social desirability using regional gray matter density (rGMD) as a brain indicator in a sample ...

On the almost‐circular symplectic induced Ginibre ensemble

open access: yesStudies in Applied Mathematics, Volume 150, Issue 1, Page 184-217, January 2023., 2023
Abstract We consider the symplectic‐induced Ginibre process, which is a Pfaffian point process on the plane. Let N be the number of points. We focus on the almost‐circular regime where most of the points lie in a thin annulus SN$\mathcal {S}_{N}$ of width O1N$O\left(\frac{1}{N}\right)$ as N→∞$N \rightarrow \infty$. Our main results are the bulk scaling

Structured algebraic specifications: A Kernel language

open access: yesTheoretical Computer Science, 1986
AbstractA language called ASL for describing structured algebraic specifications is presented. ASL is a declarative higher-order language. It contains constructs for building (possibly infinite) signatures, sets of terms, and sets of formulas as well as constructs embodying primitive operations on algebraic specifications. In particular, ASL includes a

Reproducing kernels, Engliš algebras and some applications

open access: yesStudia Mathematica, 2016
We introduce the notion of Englis algebras, defined in terms of reproducing kernels and Berezin symbols. Such algebras were apparently first investigated by Englis (1995). Here we give some new results on Englis C*-algebras on abstract reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces and some applications to various questions of operator theory.

Toward Useful Quantum Kernels

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, EarlyView.
The hybrid approach to Quantum Supervised Machine Learning is compatible with Noisy Intermediate Scale Quantum (NISQ) devices but hardly useful. Pure quantum kernels requiring fault‐tolerant quantum computers are more promising. Examples are kernels computed by means of the Quantum Fourier Transform (QFT) and kernels defined via the calculation of ...

Windowed Green function method for wave scattering by periodic arrays of 2D obstacles

open access: yesStudies in Applied Mathematics, Volume 150, Issue 1, Page 277-315, January 2023., 2023
Abstract This paper introduces a novel boundary integral equation (BIE) method for the numerical solution of problems of planewave scattering by periodic line arrays of two‐dimensional penetrable obstacles. Our approach is built upon a direct BIE formulation that leverages the simplicity of the free‐space Green function but in turn entails evaluation ...

Homogeneous algebras via heat kernel estimates

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 2022
We study homogeneous Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces defined on doubling metric measure spaces in terms of a self-adjoint operator whose heat kernel satisfies Gaussian estimates together with its derivatives. When the measure space is a smooth manifold and such operator is a sum of squares of smooth vector fields, we prove that their intersection ...

What can we Learn from Quantum Convolutional Neural Networks?

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, EarlyView.
Quantum Convolutional Neural Networks have been long touted as one of the premium architectures for quantum machine learning (QML). But what exactly makes them so successful for tasks involving quantum data? This study unlocks some of these mysteries; particularly highlighting how quantum data embedding provides a basis for superior performance in ...

Singular integral operators. The case of an unlimited contour

open access: yesJournal of Numerical Analysis and Approximation Theory, 2005
Let \(\Gamma\)be a closed or unclosed unlimited contour, a shift \(\alpha(t)\) maps homeomorphicly the contour \(\Gamma\) onto itself with preserving or reversing the direction on \(\Gamma\) and also satisfies the conditions: for some natural \(n\geq2\),
