Ellipsoid‐Based Interval‐Type Uncertainty Model Updating Based on Riemannian Manifold and Gaussian Process Model

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mechanical System Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Modern engineering systems require advanced uncertainty‐aware model updating methods that address parameter correlations beyond conventional interval analysis. This paper proposes a novel framework integrating Riemannian manifold theory with Gaussian Process Regression (GPR) for systems governed by Symmetric Positive‐Definite (SPD) matrix ...

Simulating Image Coaddition with the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. III. Software Improvements and New Linear Algebra Strategies

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series
The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope will implement a devoted weak gravitational lensing program with its High Latitude Wide Area Survey. For cosmological purposes, a critical step in Roman image processing is to combine dithered undersampled images ...

KERNELS OF REPRESENTATIONS AND COIDEAL SUBALGEBRAS OF HOPF ALGEBRAS [PDF]

open access: yesGlasgow Mathematical Journal, 2011
AbstractWe define left and right kernels of representations of Hopf algebras. In the case of group algebras, left and right kernels coincide and they are the usual kernels of modules. In the general case, we show that these kernels coincide with the categorical left and right Hopf kernels of morphisms of Hopf algebras defined in Andruskiewitsch and ...

Homogeneous algebras via heat kernel estimates

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 2022
We study homogeneous Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces defined on doubling metric measure spaces in terms of a self-adjoint operator whose heat kernel satisfies Gaussian estimates together with its derivatives. When the measure space is a smooth manifold and such operator is a sum of squares of smooth vector fields, we prove that their intersection ...

A Note on the Existence and Optimal Control of Atangana–Baleanu Fractional Stochastic Integrodifferential System With Noninstantaneous Impulses

open access: yesOptimal Control Applications and Methods, EarlyView.
Optimal Control of AB Caputo Fractional Stochastic Integrodifferential Control System with Noninstantaneous Impulses. ABSTRACT This study is concerned with the existence of mild solution and optimal control for the Atangana–Baleanu fractional stochastic integrodifferential system with noninstantaneous impulses in Hilbert spaces. We verify the existence

Endomorphic GE-derivations

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
Using the binary operation '$ {\Lsh} $' on a GE-algebra $ {X} $ given by $ {\Lsh}({x}, {y}) = ({y}{*} {x}){*} {x} $ and the GE-endomorphism $ {\Omega} : {X} \rightarrow {X} $, the notion of $ {\Omega}_{(l, r)} $-endomorphic (resp., $ {\Omega}_{(r, l ...

Reproducing kernels, Engliš algebras and some applications

open access: yesStudia Mathematica, 2016
We introduce the notion of Englis algebras, defined in terms of reproducing kernels and Berezin symbols. Such algebras were apparently first investigated by Englis (1995). Here we give some new results on Englis C*-algebras on abstract reproducing kernel Hilbert spaces and some applications to various questions of operator theory.

Extensions of Lie algebras of differential operators

open access: yes, 2020
The aim of this note is to introduce the notion of a $\operatorname{D}$-Lie algebra and to prove some elementary properties of $\operatorname{D}$-Lie algebras, the category of $\operatorname{D}$-Lie algebras, the category of modules on a $\operatorname{D}

Toward Useful Quantum Kernels

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, EarlyView.
The hybrid approach to Quantum Supervised Machine Learning is compatible with Noisy Intermediate Scale Quantum (NISQ) devices but hardly useful. Pure quantum kernels requiring fault‐tolerant quantum computers are more promising. Examples are kernels computed by means of the Quantum Fourier Transform (QFT) and kernels defined via the calculation of ...

Quantum Circuit Design using a Progressive Widening Enhanced Monte Carlo Tree Search

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, EarlyView.
This article proposes the Progressive Widening enhanced Monte Carlo Tree Search (PWMCTS) to design parameterized quantum circuits. It improves the efficiency of the previous MCTS‐based techniques in terms of number of quantum circuit evaluation, number of gates and CNOT count.
