An algebra \(A\) has the endomorphism kernel property (EKP for short) if every congruence relation on \(A\) different from the greatest one is the kernel of an endomorphism on \(A\). Let \(\Theta\) be congruence on \(A\) and \(f\) be an endomorphism of \(A\). Then \(f\) is said to be compatible with \(\Theta\) if \((a,b)\in\Theta\) implies \((f(a),f(b))

An Extended Ockham Algebra with Endomorphism Kernel Property

An algebraic structure is said to have the endomorphism kernel property if every congruence, other than the universal congruence, is the kernel of an endomorphism. Here the author considers this property in the class of extended Ockham algebras. In particular, there is obtained a description of the finite extended de Morgan algebras with this property.
