The Effect of Cachexia on the Feeding Regulation of Skeletal Muscle Protein Synthesis in Tumour‐Bearing Mice

ABSTRACT Background Cancer promotes muscle wasting through an imbalance in the tightly regulated protein synthesis and degradation processes. An array of intracellular signalling pathways, including mTORC1 and AMPK, regulate protein synthesis, and these pathways are responsive to the muscle's microenvironment and systemic stimuli.

Exploring the Effects of Artemisia absinthium L. Essential Oil on Pseudopregnancy Model in Rats

Veterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 11, Issue 5, September 2025.
This study investigated the therapeutic effects of Artemisia absinthium essential oil in a rat model of pseudopregnancy. Oral administration of the essential oil, particularly at 25 mg/kg, significantly alleviated pseudopregnancy symptoms, demonstrating comparable efficacy to bromocriptine.
