KEY RATE CHANGE BY THE CENTRAL BANK OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION. IMPACT OF THE KEY RATE ON THE ECONOMIC SPHERE

open access: yes, 2023
This article discusses the main changes in the key rate for the last period. The Bank of Russia Board of Directors formulated the main prerequisites and reasons for its adjustment. The impact of the key rate on the ruble, monetary policy and on the economy as a whole of the country after the increase by the regulator of the Central Bank of the Russian ...

Continuous-variable quantum key distribution with 1 Mbps secure key rate

open access: yesOptics Express, 2015
We report the first continuous-variable quantum key distribution (CVQKD) experiment to enable the creation of 1 Mbps secure key rate over 25 km standard telecom fiber in a coarse wavelength division multiplexers (CWDM) environment. The result is achieved with two major technological advances: the use of a 1 GHz shot-noise-limited homodyne detector and ...

Outcomes of Live Virus Vaccination in Patients With Vascular Anomalies Being Treated With Sirolimus

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Live vaccination in patients with vascular anomalies (VA) receiving sirolimus remains controversial due to immunosuppressive effects and theoretical risks. Procedure This single‐center retrospective study included patients with VA less than 4 years old at the start of sirolimus therapy who were incompletely vaccinated.

Application of an improved version of McDiarmid inequality in finite-key-length decoy-state quantum key distribution

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2020
In practical decoy-state quantum key distribution, the raw key length is finite. Thus, deviation of the estimated single photon yield and single photon error rate from their respective true values due to finite sample size can seriously lower the ...

Secret Key Generation from Correlated Sources and Secure Link

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, we study the problem of secret key generation from both correlated sources and a secure channel. We obtain the optimal secret key rate in this problem and show that the optimal scheme is to conduct secret key generation and key ...

Pediatric Oncology Nursing Competencies in Latin America and the Caribbean: A Scoping Review to Inform Practice, Education, and Research

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Nurses are central to cancer care for children and adolescents, yet no comprehensive synthesis has defined essential core competencies for pediatric oncology nursing (PON) practice internationally, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

NRASQ61R Expression in Lymphatic Endothelial Cells Causes Enlarged Vessels, Hemorrhagic Chylous Effusions, and High Mortality in a Mouse Model of Kaposiform Lymphangiomatosis

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.

Finding and breaking the realistic rate-distance limit of continuous variable quantum key distribution

open access: yes, 2018
In this work, the rate-distance limit of continuous variable quantum key distribution is studied. We find that the excess noise generated on Bob's side and the method for calculating the excess noise restrict the rate-distance limit.

Prevalence and Trajectory of Household Material Hardship Among Children With Advanced Cancer

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Families of children with advanced cancer living in poverty experience inferior outcomes including poor parent mental health and worse child quality of life. Household material hardship (HMH: food, housing, transportation, and/or utility insecurity) is a modifiable poverty exposure—and potential intervention target—that ...

Tight asymptotic key rate for the BB84 protocol with local randomisation and device imprecisions

open access: yes, 2014
Local randomisation is a preprocessing procedure in which one of the legitimate parties of a quantum key distribution (QKD) scheme adds noise to their version of the key and was found by Kraus et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett.
