Wedelolactone, a Novel TLR2 Agonist, Promotes Neutrophil Differentiation and Ameliorates Neutropenia: A Multi‐Omics Approach to Unravel the Mechanism

Wedelolactone (WED), a natural TLR2 agonist, promotes neutrophil differentiation and enhances bactericidal function, offering a potential therapeutic strategy for neutropenia. Using a multi‐omics approach, this study reveals that WED activates the TLR2/MEK/ERK pathway, upregulating key transcription factors (PU.1, CEBPβ) to drive neutrophil development.

A20 Facilitates Oxaliplatin Sensitivity in Colorectal Cancer Through Monoubiquitylation of IKK‐β

This study demonstrates that the expression of A20, a ubiquitin‐editing enzyme, is positively correlated with oxaliplatin sensitivity in colorectal cancer (CRC). Mechanistically, A20 enhances oxaliplatin sensitivity by inhibiting NF‐κB nuclear translocation through monoubiquitination of IKK‐β.

Halorotetin B, A Novel Terpenoid Compound Derived from Marine Ascidian, Suppresses Tumor Growth by Targeting the Cell Cycle Regulator UBE2C

Halorotetin B, a novel small‐molecule terpenoid identified from an edible marine ascidian, exhibits strong anti‐tumor activity both in vitro and in vivo through direct targeting UBE2C to induce tumor cell cycle arrest and then lead tumor cell senescence. AI‐Based D‐Amino Acid Substitution for Optimizing Antimicrobial Peptides to Treat Multidrug‐Resistant Bacterial Infection

This study constructed the first D‐amino acid antimicrobial peptide dataset and developed an AI model for efficient screening of substitution sites, with 80% of candidate peptides showing enhanced activity. The lead peptide dR2‐1 demonstrated potent antimicrobial activity in vitro and in vivo, high stability, and low toxicity.

MicrobeDiscover: A Knowledge Graph–Enabled AI Framework for Identifying Microbes for Inorganic Nanomaterial Biosynthesis
