Parental relatedness and parasitoid sex ratios under local mate competition

open access: yesEntomological Science, Volume 24, Issue 2, Page 137-142, June 2021., 2021
Sex ratio theory predicts that, under local mate competition, a more female‐biased offspring sex ratio will be produced by females when their relatedness to their mates is closer. Previous evaluations of parasitoid sex ratio responses to mate relatedness have not found the patterns predicted, possibly because the species investigated can control ...

Vertical Flow in Viscous Thin Films [PDF]

open access: yesAl-Rafidain Journal of Computer Sciences and Mathematics, 2008
The aim of this paper is to investigate the vertical flow in thin films of an incompressible liquids with no inertia force. Continuity equation and Navier-Stokes equations are used to obtain the equation that governs this type of flow, this equation is ...

Steady Flow in a Symmetric Thin Liquid Film on an Inclined Surface [PDF]

open access: yesAl-Rafidain Journal of Computer Sciences and Mathematics, 2005
In this paper, we consider steady incompressible viscous flow in a symmetric thin liquid film on an inclined surface with angle b in two dimensions with no inertia force. The surface of the film is taken to be real that is there is no shear stress on the

Flow in Inclined Thin Liquid Films with no Inertia Force [PDF]

open access: yesAl-Rafidain Journal of Computer Sciences and Mathematics, 2007
In this paper we have investigated viscous flow in symmetric thin liquid films which are inclined by an inclination angle  to the horizontal for an incompressible liquids in two dimensions with no inertia force.
