, 2023 The introduction presents Khidr-Khizr, a sacred figure that is revered by Muslims from the Balkans to South Asia, and is usually associated with other non-Muslim figures. This chapter begins by recalling that for Muslims, Khidr-Khizr is a Qur'anic figure, who appears in a narrative that also includes Prophet Musa (Moses).
