Significance of Ki67 expression in endometriosis for infertility
European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology, 2022The aim of the study was to show the significance of Ki67 expression in endometriosis for infertility. It was a retrospective analysis. 670 cases were analyzed. In 484 cases, immunohistochemical proliferation analysis was performed to determine the expression of Ki67. The indicated percentages of Ki67 expression were divided into three groups.

Perichromosomal protein Ki67 supports mitotic chromosome architecture
Genes to Cells, 2016Although the condensin complexes and topoisomerase IIα (TopoIIα) are the central players in mitotic chromosome formation, they are insufficient for its completion, and additional factors involved in the process have been extensively sought. In this study, we examined the possibility that Ki67, a perichromosomal protein widely used as a cell ...

Meningiomas: Correlation of Ki67 with histological grade
Neurology India, 2011Meningiomas are slow-growing tumors. Grading of meningiomas based on histological features has certain limitations in predicting the exact biological behavior, necessitating ancillary techniques. To study the Ki67 labeling index (Ki67 LI) in various histological subtypes and grades of meningioma and correlate it with various parameters for recurrence ...

Ki67 assessment in breast cancer: an update
Pathology, 2017Although immunohistochemical detection of the Ki67 antigen has been used for many years to assess cancer proliferation, this marker is still not recommended for routine use in clinical management of breast cancer. The major reason for this situation is a lack of a standardised procedure for Ki67 assessment as well as persistence of several issues of ...

Ki67 in breast cancer: prognostic and predictive potential
The Lancet Oncology, 2010The leading parameters that define treatment recommendations in early breast cancer are oestrogen-receptor, progesterone-receptor, and human epidermal growth-factor status. Although some pathologists report Ki67 in addition to other biological markers, the existing guidelines of the American Society of Clinical Oncology do not include Ki67 in the list ...
