This study addresses bacterial biofilm resistance by developing mesoporous Fe3O4 nanoparticles loaded with photosensitizer IR‐820, enabling combined antimicrobial photodynamic therapyand magnetic hyperthermia therapy. The system achieves magnetic targeting, heat‐triggered drug release under alternating magnetic fields, and near‐infrared‐induced ROS ...

Personalized graph feature-based multi-omics data integration for cancer subtype identification [PDF]
Cancer is a highly heterogeneous disease with significant variability in molecular features and clinical outcomes, making diagnosis and treatment challenging. In recent years, high-throughput omic technologies have facilitated the discovery of mechanisms underlying various cancer subtypes by providing diverse omics data, such as gene expression, DNA ...

Imiquimod‐loaded nanoparticles (PFSUV‐IMQ) are found to decrease liver metastasis and liver tumor burden when administered intravenously. Flow cytometry, RNA‐seq and various experiments show that the anti‐tumor response is immune‐mediated by activating dendritic cells resulting in increased CD8 T cell infiltration and activity.

A mitochondria‐targeted cationic nanoscale metal organic framework shows strong radiotherapy‐radiodynamic therapy effects and selectively releases digitonin in acidic tumor microenvironments to induce disulfidptosis of cancer cells and downregulate immune checkpoints in cancer and T cells, thereby eliciting strong antitumor immunity to effectively ...

This work explores the MOF landscape to select a single, optimal candidate for successfully delivering cancer drugs (gemcitabine, paclitaxel, SN‐38) into tough pancreatic tumors. Machine learning and simulations guide this search, demonstrating colloidal stability, excellent biocompatibility, cellular uptake, and sustained release.
