S1 guideline sweat gland carcinoma
Summary The current classification of sweat gland carcinomas is based on histomorphological characteristics and distinguishes between more than 20 entities. Most patients are older, but some subtypes also affect middle‐aged and younger patients. The majority of tumors arise de novo. Sweat gland carcinomas have nonspecific clinical features.

Summary Background Nephrosplenic entrapment (NSE) is a common surgical colic in horses. Ventral midline laparotomy (VML) under general anaesthesia (GA) is the standard approach, whereas standing flank laparotomy (SFL) is an alternative approach for surgical correction. Anaesthetic management of a horse with acute kidney injury
Summary Anaesthetic management of animals with acute kidney injuries (AKI) is complex and poses considerable risk. There are no publications describing management of anaesthetised horses with AKI. Perioperative and anaesthetic care of a Thoroughbred filly presented with traumatic injuries and subsequent AKI is described.
