1995Der Siedlungsraum der Kikuyu liegt in der heutigen Central Province des kenianischen Hochlands. Auf einer durchschnittlichen Hohe von 1500 Metern bieten fruchtbare Boden eine wichtige Existenzgrundlage fur die intensive landwirtschaftliche Nutzung; die gute Ernahrungsbasis ermoglicht eine relativ dichte Besiedlung.
