XENOLITHS OF POLYMICTIC BRECCIAS FROM KIMBERLITES OF THE YAKUTIAN DIAMONDIFEROUS PROVINCE
The polymictic breccias, extremely rare mantle conglomerates being the fragments of rocks and large mantle minerals cemented with fine-grained mass have been long provoking interest of petrologists worldwide.

Clasts of albite‐porphyroblastic quartzofeldspathic schist, derived from the Otago Schist basement, occur within the Port Chalmers Breccia, a diatreme at the centre of the Dunedin stratovolcano, New Zealand. Schists have undergone varying degrees of replacement reactions (at temperatures of 300° to >500°C) producing hornfelses, with Ca‐ and K‐enriched ...

Geological and structural characteristics of deep-level rock mass of the Udachnaya pipe deposit
For hard rock massifs, structural disturbance is a key indicator of mining structure stability. The presence of intersecting structural elements in the massif reduces rock strength and leads to formation of potential collapse structures.

Noble gases in diamonds: Occurrences of solarlike helium and neon [PDF]
We have measured noble gases in 17 diamond samples, mostly inclusion free, from diverse, known locations. The ^3He/^4He ratios are characterized by a large spread (10^4), ranging from values below atmospheric to close to the solar ratio.
