Identification and Kinematic Calculation of Laser Tracker Errors
AbstractCalibration of Laser Tracker systems is based most times in the determination of its geometrical errors. Some standards as the ASME B89.4.19 (2006) and the VDI 2617-10 (2011) describe different tests to calculate the geometric misalignments that cause systematic errors in Laser Tracker measurements.

Reliability of joint kinematic calculations based on direct kinematic and inverse kinematic models in obese children [PDF]
In recent years, the reliability of inverse (IK) and direct kinematic (DK) models in gait analysis have been assessed intensively, but mainly for lean populations. However, obesity is a growing issue. So far, the sparse results available for the reliability of clinical gait analysis in obese populations are limited to direct kinematic models ...

RESEARCH ON THE KINEMATICS OF A MECHANISM WITH A TRIAD AS A COMPONENT [PDF]
The structural approach to mechanisms from the perspective of component kinematic groups shows that as the class of component groups increases, the complexity of the mechanisms that contain them also increases.

Diffusion in a generalized Rubinstein-Duke model of electrophoresis with kinematic disorder [PDF]
Using a generalized Rubinstein-Duke model we prove rigorously that kinematic disorder leaves the prediction of standard reptation theory for the scaling of the diffusion constant in the limit for long polymer chains $D \propto L^{-2}$ unaffected.

Single-spin azimuthal asymmetries in electroproduction of neutral pions in semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scattering [PDF]
A single-spin asymmetry in the azimuthal distribution of neutral pions relative to the lepton scattering plane has been measured for the first time in deep-inelastic scattering of positrons off longitudinally polarized protons. The analyzing power in the

PROBABLE CALCULATION OF BUILDING SEISMIC RESISTANCE ON KINEMATIC SUPPORT
Objectives. The article reflects the results of the numerical analysis of the earthquake-resistant building on kinematic supports. To this end, the problem is reduced to solving the nonlinear stochastic Cauchy problem.

Analysis of factors affecting steering performance of wheeled skid-steered vehicles
Wheeled skid-steered vehicles have the advantages of compact structure, small steering radius and wide application. However, poor steering performance is an important limitation restricting the development of wheeled skid-steered vehicles.

Errors in kinematic distances and our image of the Milky Way Galaxy [PDF]
Errors in the kinematic distances, under the assumption of circular gas orbits, were estimated by performing synthetic observations of a model disk galaxy. It was found that the error is < 0.5 kpc for most of the disk when the measured rotation curve was

Diffuse LEED intensities of disordered crystal surfaces : I. Correlations between statistics and multiple diffraction [PDF]
It is shown that the diffraction of slow electrons from disordered crystal surfaces is correlated with the problem of thermodynamical statistics. The correlation functions are completely determined by the self-energies and interaction energies of ...
