We present a general method for worst-case limit kinematic tolerance analysis: computing the range of variation in the kinematic function of a mechanism from its part tolerance specifications. The method covers fixed and multiple contact mechanisms with parametric or geometric part tolerances.

Kinematics Analysis of the Exechon Tripod
Volume 2: 34th Annual Mechanisms and Robotics Conference, Parts A and B, 2010The Exechon 5-Axis Parallel Kinematic Machine (PKM) is a successful design created in Sweden and adopted by many producers of machine tools around the world. A new version of the manipulator is being developed as a component of a mobile self-reconfigurable fixture system within an inter-European project.

Kinematical analysis of Wunderlich mechanism
Mechanism and Machine Theory, 2013Abstract We analyze the configuration space of Wunderlich mechanism using tools of computational algebraic geometry. We provide the complete description of the configuration space of the Wunderlich mechanism by computing the prime decomposition of the relevant variety and analyzing all of its prime components. We analyze also the effect of the choice

On the Kinematic Analysis of Robotic Mechanisms
The International Journal of Robotics Research, 1999The kinematic analyses, of manipulators and other robotic devices composed of mechanical links, usually depend on the solution of sets of nonlinear equations. There are a variety of both numerical and algebraic techniques available to solve such systems of equations and to give bounds on the number of solutions.

Review of kinematic analysis in dogs
Veterinary Surgery, 2020AbstractObjective gait analysis techniques aid investigators in the study of motion. Kinematic gait analysis techniques that objectively quantitate motion are valuable tools used to understand normal and abnormal motion in domestic animals. Recent advances in video technology have made the study of motion more readily accessible.

Kinematic analysis of a Duchenne smile
Archives of Oral Biology, 2016Facial expressions are communicative motor outputs, whose kinematics likely are due to musculoskeletal anatomy, neuromotor activity and the well-being and internal states of the individual. However, little has been published on the kinematics of facial expression.

Kinematic Analysis of Spinal Fusions
Investigative Radiology, 1976Two cases with clinical suspicion of incompletely healed anterior fusion between L5 and S1 were examined by means of a roentgen stereophotogrammetric method. In both cases a pseudarthrosis was found. The method makes it possible to disclose rotations and translations between veretebrae with an accuracy of about 0.2degree and 30-120 mum, respectively.
