Conformational Switch in the Alpha‐Synuclein C‐Terminal Domain Directs Its Fibril Polymorphs
The conformational state of the C‐terminal domain determines the fibril morphology of full‐length wild‐type alpha‐synuclein: high C‐terminus flexibility promotes twisted fibrils, while partial C‐terminal folding drives the assembly of rod‐like fibrils.

In Situ X‐ray Diffraction Studies on the Reduction of U3O8 by Various Reducing Agents
The reduction of U₃O₈ by hydrogen, PVDF, and CaH₂ is investigated using continuous in situ X‐ray diffraction. Phase transitions, oxygen loss, and intermediate structures are analyzed. The study elucidates how different reducing environments influence reaction pathways and final products, offering new insight into uranium oxide chemistry relevant to ...

The insertion of a fluorescent coumarin unit by using a lysine‐based linker on deferoxamine leads to a chelating agent (DFOKC), whose Cu(II) and Zr(IV) complexes can be used for both optical imaging and positron emission tomography. DFOKC shows increased binding ability for Cu(II) and Zr(II) and improved tumor cell internalization via pinocytosis ...

The oxidation of alcohols, amines, and halides is a fundamental transformation in organic chemistry with significant applications in the synthesis of fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and natural products. Here we show that a broad variety of N‐heteroarenes bearing hydroxymethyl, aminomethyl, or halomethyl groups are oxidatively dehydrogenated to their ...

Intramolecular PCET of α‐Keto Acids: Synthesis of Trifluoromethyl Ketones via Ketyl Radicals
Decarboxylation of α‐keto acids have conventionally served as simple building blocks for the generation of nucleophilic acyl radicals. Herein, we demonstrate a distinct approach for this substrate class, showcasing the generation of ketyl radicals through a proton‐coupled electron transfer (PCET) mechanism.
