Dissociative Electron Attachment Cross Sections for H2 and D2 [PDF]
New measurements of the absolute cross sections for dissociative electron attachment (DEA) in molecular hydrogen and deuterium are presented which resolve previous ambiguities and provide a test bed for theory.

Impact of kinetic isotope effects in isotopic studies of metabolic systems [PDF]
Isotope labeling experiments (ILEs) are increasingly used to investigate the functioning of metabolic systems. Some enzymes are subject to kinetic isotope effects (KIEs) which modulate reaction rates depending on the isotopic composition of their substrate(s).

An advanced F‐doped and ─CN group co‐modified FCCN is developed. Due to the synergistic effects of co‐modification in promoting photogenerated exciton generation, enhancing charge kinetics, expanding active interfacial areas, and optimizing CO2 interfacial reactions, the FCCN photocatalyst demonstrates excellent catalytic performance and high ...

Path integral evaluation of the kinetic isotope effects based on the quantum instanton approximation [PDF]
A general method for computing kinetic isotope effects is described. The method uses the quantum-instanton approximation and is based on the thermodynamic integration with respect to the mass of the isotopes and on the path-integral Monte-Carlo ...

A Tracer Diffusion Study of Diverse Photo‐Ionic Phenomena in Strontium Titanate
Two strong interfacial photo‐ionic effects are demonstrated for the model system SrTiO3 through the application of isotope exchange experiments: UV illumination is found to enhance the oxygen surface exchange coefficient by several orders of magnitude and to depress the surface space‐charge potential substantially.

The Catalytic Role of Glutamate 151 in the Leucine Aminopeptidase from \u3cem\u3eAeromonas proteolytica\u3c/em\u3e [PDF]
Glutamate 151 has been proposed to act as the general acid/base during the peptide hydrolysis reaction catalyzed by the co-catalytic metallohydrolase from Aeromonas proteolytica (AAP).

Isotopic Composition of Fragments in Nuclear Multifragmentation
The isotope yields of fragments, produced in the decay of the quasiprojectile in Au+Au peripheral collisions at 35 MeV/nucleon and those coming from the disassembly of the unique source formed in Xe+Cu central reactions at 30 MeV/nucleon, were measured ...
