The Influence of Elevated Temperature on Time‐Dependent Compaction Creep in Bleursville Sandstone
Abstract The inelastic compaction of sandstone in the upper crust typically occurs at depths where temperatures range from approximately 50°C $50{}^{\circ}\mathrm{C}$ to 150°C $150{}^{\circ}\mathrm{C}$. Previous experimental studies have shown that even this modest temperature increase can reduce the yield stress required to initiate inelastic ...

Abstract Bedload flux estimation from reach‐averaged hydraulic conditions, while tractable and generally reliable over long integration periods, struggles to capture the intrinsic variability of transport in turbulent flow and the strong influence of local sediment size and morphological heterogeneity.

Abstract The dynamics of suspended particulate matter (SPM) plays a crucial role in determining water quality, sediment transport, and biogeochemical cycles in inland, estuarine, and coastal water resources. Flocculation processes strongly influence the SPM dynamics via aggregation and breakage under various hydrodynamic and biogeochemical conditions ...

Kinetic Typography in Digital Media
Kinetic typography, which involves the dynamic presentation of text through motion graphics, has become increasingly prevalent in digital media. While gaining immense popularity, the in-depth study on the current state of kinetic typography in digital media still stands a gap. This study therefore seeks to bridge this gap through a systematic review of

Physically consistent mesoscale model evaluation in complex terrain
This study introduces a novel approach for evaluating mesoscale atmospheric models in complex terrain by selecting physically consistent grid points and applying height‐based corrections. The method corrects for sensor height and terrain elevation differences between model and observations using a time‐varying lapse rate.

Abstract Rainfall infiltration is a key hydrological process influencing agriculture, pollutant transport, and flood modeling. Accurate prediction of rainfall losses, defined as rainfall that does not contribute to surface runoff is critical in rainfall‐runoff models.

Protoparvovirus carnivoran1 is a highly contagious pathogen that poses a significant threat to both domestic and wild carnivorans. Despite its importance, the dynamics of viral transmission at the wildlife–domestic interface remain poorly understood. Between 2017 and 2025, 303 fecal samples from eight free‐ranging mesocarnivoran species and 243 samples

Comments on the RG‐Flow in Open String Field Theory
Abstract We define a metric G$G$ on the KBc‐subalgebra modulo gauge and describe the worldsheet RG‐flow as the gradient flow of the action of cubic open string field theory, where the flow lines are kink‐solitons. In particular, for a constant tachyon the gradient flow equations are equivalent to the RG‐equations. Additionally, a more general family of

Abstract The JUpiter ICy moons Explorer (JUICE) mission, launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) in April 2023, aims to explore Jupiter and its icy moons, particularly focusing on Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. This study uses the Latmos Hybrid Simulation (LatHyS) model to simulate Europa's plasma and field environment, emphasizing the upcoming ...

Corrections of Electron–Phonon Coupling for Second‐Order Structural Phase Transitions
The left image illustrates a weak electron–phonon coupling, while the right image depicts a strong electron–phonon coupling. The weak electron–phonon coupling interaction between the lattice and electrons is susceptible to destabilization by an increase in temperature.
