Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal, 2013 For a King-type modification of \(q\)-Bernstein-Schurer operators, some estimations of the rate of convergence are established. A Voronovskaja-type asymptotic formula is also obtained for these operators.

Taiwanese Journal of Mathematics, 2010 By using q-calculus, in the present paper we construct Sz´asz type operators in King sense, this meaning the operators preserve the first and the third test function of Bohman-Korovkin theorem. Rate of local and global convergence is obtained in the frame of weighted spaces. The statistical approximation property of our operators is also revealed.

Creative Mathematics and Informatics, 2013 A class of linear and positive operators defined by finite sum which generalizes the classical Schurer’s operators in the King sense is constructed. For the mentioned class of operators, uniform convergences results, error estimations in terms of modulus of continuity and Voronovskaja type theorems are established.
