We introduce sequences of operators Vn of King’s type and study them in regard to uniform convergence, global smoothness preservation, the approximation of decreasing and convex functions, the validity of a Voronovskaja- type theorem and a recursion formula generalizing a corresponding result for the classical Bernstein operators.

On Approximation Properties of q-King Operators
2014Based on q-integers we introduce the q-King operators which approximate each continuous function on [0, 1] and preserve the functions e 0(x) = 1 and e j (x) = x j . We also construct a q-parametric sequence of polynomial bounded positive linear operators possessing similar properties.

AANA journal, 2016In September 1958 the Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr was stabbed and nearly assassinated. Surgeons at Harlem Hospital in New York City removed a 17.8-cm (7-in)-long letter opener from Dr King's chest. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Goldie Brangman remembers this event because she participated in Dr King's anesthetic.

Approximation Properties of King Type -Bernstein Operators
2019The present paper deals mainly with a King type modification of -Bernstein operators. By improving the conditions given in Mursaleen et al. (On (p, q)-analogue of Bernstein operators. Appl Math Comput 266:874-882, 2015a), we investigate the Korovkin type approximation of both -Bernstein and King type -Bernstein operators.
