L’automédication est une pratique qui consiste à prendre des médicaments sans l’avis d’un professionnel de santé. Cette pratique est  très répandue en République Démocratique du Congo. Ses raisons sont multiples. C’est le cas notamment de la culture, de la pauvreté  mais aussi de l’échec de la relation thérapeutique.
