Morphology‐Controlled Silica Nanoparticle Coatings for Transparent Radiative Cooling
Transparent radiative cooling coatings are achieved by immobilizing solid and hollow silica spheres on glass. Particle morphology within sub‐monolayer coatings is shown to govern the trade‐off between visible and atmospheric window reflectance. Hollow‐sphere structures enable reduced thermal emission losses while preserving transparency, highlighting ...

Multiple solutions for a Kirchhoff-type equation with general nonlinearity
This paper is devoted to the study of the following autonomous Kirchhoff-type equation $$-M\left(\int_{\mathbb{R}^N}|\nabla{u}|^2\right)\Delta{u}= f(u),~~~~u\in H^1(\mathbb{R}^N),$$ where $M$ is a continuous non-degenerate function and $N\geq2$.

Assessing the role of spatial externalities in the survival of Italian innovative startups
Abstract The paper provides novel empirical evidence about the effects of spatial externalities on the survival of innovative startups in Italy. Using geocoded firm‐level data, we build micro‐geographic measures of specialization and diversity that are robust to the modifiable areal unit problem.

Concentrating solutions for a fractional Kirchhoff equation with critical growth
In this paper we consider the following class of fractional Kirchhoff equations with critical growth: \begin{equation*} \left\{ \begin{array}{ll} \left(\varepsilon^{2s}a+\varepsilon^{4s-3}b\int_{\mathbb{R}^{3}}|(-\Delta)^{\frac{s}{2}}u|^{2}dx\right ...

Nested Selves: Self‐Organization and Shared Markov Blankets in Prenatal Development in Humans
Abstract The immune system is a central component of organismic function in humans. This paper addresses self‐organization of biological systems in relation to—and nested within—other biological systems in pregnancy. Pregnancy constitutes a fundamental state for human embodiment and a key step in the evolution and conservation of our species. While not
