Resistance distance and Kirchhoff index of the splitting-joins of two graphs

open access: yesFilomat
Let G be agraph. The splitting graph SP(G) of G is the graph received from G by putting a new vertex w? for each w ? VG and joining w? to all vertices of G adjacent to w. Let SG be the set of such new vertices of the splitting graph SP(G).

Quasi‐digital memristor with self‐rectifying and synaptic functions in crossbar array architectures

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
The text should be different from the abstract text. A self‐rectifying quasi‐digital memristor (QDM) featuring a well‐defined p‐AgI/n‐PbI2 heterojunction is developed. It monolithically integrate diode‐like rectification, digital switching, and analog plasticity.

Intrinsic chiroptical responsivity in self‐powered organic photodiodes for polarization‐tunable optical convolution

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
Self‐powered chiral organic photodiodes function as polarization‐sensitive convolutional filters for circularly polarized light‐driven optical convolutional neural networks. This conceptually innovative architecture enables dynamic weight modulation, bias‐free operation, and exceptional noise resilience, boosting feature extraction fidelity from 0.15 ...

Existence Analysis of a Three‐Species Memristor Drift‐Diffusion System Coupled to Electric Networks

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The existence of global weak solutions to a partial‐differential‐algebraic system is proved. The system consists of the drift‐diffusion equations for the electron, hole, and oxide vacancy densities in a memristor device, the Poisson equation for the electric potential, and the differential‐algebraic equations for an electric network.

The minimal degree Kirchhoff index of bicyclic graphs

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
The degree Kirchhoff index of graph $ G $ is defined as $ Kf^{*}(G) = \sum\limits_{{u, v}\subseteq V(G)}d(u)d(v)r_{G}(u, v) $, where $ d(u) $ is the degree of vertex $ u $ and $ r_{G}(u, v) $ is the resistance distance between the vertices $ u $ and $ v $

Neural network with signal parameters featuring for near‐surface velocity model building

open access: yesNear Surface Geophysics, EarlyView.
Abstract This study presents a method that integrates spectral recomposition (SR) with a neural network to improve near‐surface seismic analysis. The approach incorporates SR‐derived wavelet‐timing attributes into a fully convolutional network (FCN) to enhance the characterization of shallow subsurface structures. Field evaluation was conducted using S‐

Geography of race and income shape spatial data gaps in two national participatory science projects

open access: yesPeople and Nature, EarlyView.
Abstract Context and Need: Participatory projects where people contribute geo‐referenced biodiversity data, like eBird and iNaturalist, are commonly used tools to enhance the data collection capacity for research, management, and environmental learning. Despite their utility, demographic disparities in participation, demographic patterns of residential

Towards Artificial Intelligence Hardware With 3D Integrated Ferroelectric Transistors

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Modern AI workloads demand hardware that mitigates the data‐movement bottleneck of von Neumann architectures. Here, we demonstrate a 4‐tier monolithic 3D (M3D) platform vertically integrating IGZO access transistors with Hf₀.5Zr₀.5O2 ferroelectric FETs.
