Exponential Growth and Lower Bounds for the Blow-up Time of Solutions for a System of Kirchhoff-type Equations

open access: yesJournal of New Results in Science, 2019
This paper deals with the system of Kirchhoff-type equations with a bounded domain Ω⊂Rⁿ. We prove exponential growth of solutions with negative initial energy. Later, we give some estimates for lower bounds of the blow up time.

Thermodynamics‐Based THMC Model for Solute Transport in Sorptive Fractured Rock: Coupling Multi‐Phase Flow, Heat, and Deformation

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 11, 16 June 2026.
Abstract Fractured porous rocks host a complex interplay of heat, fluids, deformation, and chemical reactions, yet their combined influence on solute transport remains poorly resolved. Here we show that these processes are more tightly coupled than previously assumed.

Existence of solutions for Kirchhoff type equations with unbounded potential

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
In this article, we study the Kirchhoff type equation $$ \Big(a+\lambda\int_{\mathbb{R}^3}|\nabla u|^2 +\lambda b\int_{\mathbb{R}^3}u^2\Big)[-\Delta u+b u] =K(x)|u|^{p-1}u,\quad \text{in } \mathbb{R}^3, $$ where $a,b>0$, $p\in(2,5)$, $\lambda ...

Existence and multiplicity results for a class of Kirchhoff-type equations

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis
Summary: This paper deals with the existence and multiplicity of non-negative generalized solutions for a class of second-order Kirchhoff-type problems. It is important to mention that no asymptotic condition is required in the nonlinear term either at zero or at infinity. Our approach is based on the variational methods and critical point theory.
