Magnon-Driven Domain-Wall Motion with the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya Interaction
We study domain wall (DW) motion induced by spin waves (magnons) in the presence of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI). The DMI exerts a torque on the DW when spin waves pass through the DW, and this torque represents a linear momentum exchange ...

A two‐incision MI‐TLIF showed comparable outcomes to the traditional four‐incision approach in single‐level patients. Excessive pursuit of smaller or fewer incisions demonstrated no significant short‐term advantage. Reduced exposure may still help minimize wound complications in vulnerable groups, warranting further targeted follow‐up.

Anomalous Ferromagnetism of Monatomic Co Wire at the Pt(111) Surface Step Edge
A first-principles investigation of the anomalous ferromagnetism of a quasi-one-dimensional Co chain at the Pt(111) step edge is reported. Our calculations show that the symmetry breaking at the step leads to an easy magnetization axis at an odd angle of

Abstract Purpose Medial meniscus posterior root tears (MMPRTs) disrupt the hoop stress mechanism, leading to increased meniscal extrusion and early osteoarthritis. This systematic review aims to evaluate current surgical techniques for MMPRT repair, including their biomechanical principles, technical aspects and clinical outcomes, with special ...

Results of Treatment of Displaced Supracondylar Humeral Fractures in Children by K-wiring [PDF]
The supracondylar fracture of the humerus in children remains the most challenging injury for the orthopedic surgeon. It is important to consider the options of treatment very carefully and tailor the treatment according to the characteristics of each ...

Quantum Dynamics of Spin Wave Propagation Through Domain Walls [PDF]
Through numerical solution of the time-dependent Schrodinger equation, we demonstrate that magnetic chains with uniaxial anisotropy support stable structures, separating ferromagnetic domains of opposite magnetization. These structures, domain walls in a

Three-dimensional Printed Surgical Simulator for Kirschner Wire Placement in Hand Fractures
Summary: Closed reduction and percutaneous pinning (CRPP) of hand fractures can be a deceptively challenging procedure that requires significant hands-on time to teach and learn.
