Tetherless Reconfigurations at Actuator‐Structure Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 9, Issue 24, December 17, 2024.
A reconfigurable actuator encompassing magnetic interaction and temperature dependent stiffness is demonstrated to achieve reconfigurable mechanisms with origami. The interface of the two components reconfigures via selective actuation and constraints which can be used to assemble or modify structures for reconfigurable functions.
