ABSTRACT Supporting students' self‐regulated learning (SRL) is essential in education, yet most interventions adopt a one‐size‐fits‐all approach, overlooking individual differences in students' ability to engage in SRL. Tailored instruction requires reliable assessment tools that distinguish between students' availability (knowledge) and production ...

Reductive quotients of klt singularities
AbstractWe prove that the quotient of a klt type singularity by a reductive group is of klt type in characteristic 0. In particular, given a klt variety $X$ X endowed with the action of a reductive group $G$ G and admitting a quasi-projective good quotient $X\rightarrow X/\!/G$

Minimal projective varieties satisfying Miyaoka's equality
Abstract In this paper, we establish a structure theorem for a minimal projective klt variety X$X$ satisfying Miyaoka's equality 3c2(X)=c1(X)2$3c_2(X) = c_1(X)^2$. Specifically, we prove that the canonical divisor KX$K_X$ is semi‐ample and that the Kodaira dimension κ(KX)$\kappa (K_X)$ is equal to 0, 1, or 2. Furthermore, based on this abundance result,

Boundedness results for singular Fano varieties and applications to Cremona groups
This survey paper reports on work of Birkar, who confirmed a long-standing conjecture of Alexeev and Borisov-Borisov: Fano varieties with mild singularities form a bounded family once their dimension is fixed.

Klt singularities of horospherical pairs [PDF]
Let X be a horospherical G-variety and let D be an effective ℚ-divisor of X that is stable under the action of a Borel subgroup B of G and such that D+K X is ℚ-Cartier. We prove, using Bott–Samelson resolutions, that the pair (X,D) is klt if and only if ⌊D⌋=0.

ABSTRACT Ultrasound (US) imaging is widely used in image‐guided therapies due to its real‐time capability, high temporal resolution, cost‐effectiveness, safety, and portability. While many US tracking methods exist, most reviews focus on conventional techniques and overlook recent advances in deep learning (DL).

Marine Heatwaves Transform Coral Symbioses With Enduring Effects
Marine heatwaves are disrupting coral–algal symbioses, yet their long‐term effects remain poorly understood. Using a decade‐long survey (2013–2023), we document a lasting transformation of symbiont assemblages, evidence of a local symbiont extinction, and indications that local human disturbance may impede symbiont recovery following a major marine ...
