Ambulatory measurement of the knee adduction moment in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee
High knee joint-loading increases the risk and progression of knee osteoarthritis (OA). Mechanical loading on the knee is reflected in the external knee adduction moment (KAdM) that can be measured during gait with laboratory-based measurement systems. However, clinical application of these systems is limited.

Step‐by‐step insight into gait analysis: A narrative review unlocking knee biomechanics
Abstract Gait analysis offers a powerful tool for clinical and orthopaedic decision‐making. By quantifying spatiotemporal, kinematic and kinetic parameters during walking, it provides a dynamic window into joint function that static imaging cannot capture.

Abstract Purpose To develop and evaluate the clinical feasibility of a dynamic computed tomography (CT) protocol for assessing patellofemoral (PF) and tibiofemoral (TF) kinematics before and after total knee arthroplasty (TKA), and to quantify postoperative kinematic changes in a pilot study.

Abstract Purpose To compare medial posterior tibial slope (mPTS) measurements on abduction/adduction malpositioned versus properly positioned lateral knee radiographs within the same patients. We hypothesized that malpositioning would significantly alter mPTS values and potentially change surgical classification at the commonly used 12° threshold for ...

Background Lateral wedge insoles are traditionally used to reduce the adduction moment that crosses the knee during walking in people with medial knee osteoarthritis. However, the best degree to reduce knee joint load is not yet well established. Methods
