Dislocation of the fibular head in an unusual sports injury: a case report
Introduction One of the primary functions of the proximal tibiofibular joint is slight rotation to accommodate rotational stress at the ankle. Proximal tibiofibular joint dislocation is a rare injury and accounts for less than 1% of all knee injuries ...

Congenital dislocation of the knee [PDF]
Congenital dislocation of the knee is a very rare condition, the incidence in Scandinavia hitherto not being known with certainty. Thirteen patients treated during the years 1960 to 1983 with 19 affected knees were reviewed and followed up. Findings of muscular imbalances in nine of these cases and of spinal abnormalities in four cases strongly ...

A Novel Approach to Estimate the Transition Temperature via Dynamic Nanoindentation
A new dynamic nanoindentation‐based method was developed that uses the stiffness ratio as an indicator of the elastic–plastic deformation contributions at different temperatures. The approach successfully identified transition temperatures in ferritic steel and distinguished them from continuously ductile austenitic steel.
