Answering Range-Based Reverse kNN Queries
2018Given a point q, a reverse k nearest neighbor (RkNN) query retrieves all the data points that have q as one of their k nearest neighbors. Despite significant progress on this problem, there is a research gap in finding RkNNs not just for an object, but for a given range, which is a natural extension of the problem.

Algebraic Properties to Optimize kNN Queries.
J. Inf. Data Manag., 2011New applications that are being required to employ Database Management Systems (DBMSs), such as storing and retrieving complex data (images, sound, temporal series, genetic data, etc.) and analytical data processing (data mining, social networks analysis, etc.), increasingly impose the need for new ways of expressing predicates.

eDAR Algorithm for Continuous KNN Queries Based on Pine
International Journal of Information Technology and Web Engineering, 2006The continuous K nearest neighbor (CKNN) query is an important type of query that continuously finds the KNN to a query point on a given path. In this article we focus on moving queries issued on stationary objects in spatial network database (SNDB).

Evaluating KNN-skyline queries in dynamic road networks
2018 27th Wireless and Optical Communication Conference (WOCC), 2018The continuous K-nearest neighbor-skyline query (CKN-SQ) is an important type of location-based queries in road networks. However, previous studies focus only on static road networks. That is, the object attributes and the conditions of roads in a road network are unchanged.

Privacy Preserving kNN Spatial Query with Voronoi Neighbors
2019With the increased demand for outsourcing databases, there is a demand to enable secure and efficient communications. The concern regarding outsourcing data is mainly providing confidentiality and integrity to the data. This paper proposes a novel solution to answering kNN queries at the cloud server over encrypted data.
