Fast software encryption system based on local pseudorandomness [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Science Journal of Moldova, 1996
New software-oriented single key cryptosystem based on local pseudorandomness is considered. Its cryptorobustness is characterized in probabilistic terms.

Novel countermeasures and techniques for differential power analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Research in the last few years has indicated that, despite modern algorithms being secure against all published mathematical attacks and being far too complex to break by brute force, secret key data can be gathered by monitoring the power consumption ...

Known Plaintext Correlation Attack Against RC5

open access: yesKnown Plaintext Correlation Attack Against RC5
We investigate a known plaintext attack on RC5 based on correlations. Compared with the best previous known-plaintext attack on RC5-32, a linear cryptanalysis by Borst, Preneel, and Vandewalle, our attack applies to a larger number of rounds. RC5-32 with r rounds can be broken with a success probability of 90% by using 2^ plaintexts.
