Quantum Dynamical Entropies and Gács Algorithmic Entropy
Several quantum dynamical entropies have been proposed that extend the classical Kolmogorov–Sinai (dynamical) entropy. The same scenario appears in relation to the extension of algorithmic complexity theory to the quantum realm.

Kolmogorov-Sinai Entropy of the Dilute Wet Granular Gas
We present an analytical expression for the Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy of a wet granular gas. The influence of the liquid is modeled by a hysteretic interaction force. For the dilute limit (two-particle collisions only), we find a simple expression accounting for the contribution of both the scattering states and the bound states in arbitrary dimensions.

Abstract Elevated LL‐37 IgG levels are implicated in inflammatory conditions and immune complexes formed with LL‐37 potentially propagate immunothrombosis in acute coronary syndrome (ACS). The reported binding of LL‐37 to LDL may be relevant in this context given that LDL autoantibodies are implicated in ACS risk. In this report, three distinct cohorts

Information Dynamics in Complex Systems Negates a Dichotomy between Chance and Necessity
Entropy increases in the execution of linear physical processes. At equilibrium, all uncertainty about the future is removed and information about the past is lost.

From the nationwide multicenter consortium, 8,163 patients undergoing drug‐eluting stent implantation were classified according to the presence of the CYP2C19 loss‐of‐function (LoF) allele: rapid or normal metabolizers (RMs/NMs) vs. intermediate or poor metabolizers (IMs/PMs), and clinical risk was stratified using the CHADS‐P2A2RC and TRS 2°P scores ...

Abstract Solving probabilistic weather forecasts is challenging due to computational constraints and the nonlinear nature of Earth atmosphere. This study proposes a proof‐of‐concept to address these challenges by solving the Liouville equation, that is, the analytical solution for probabilistic forecasts, with data‐driven method.

Classification of asynchronous elementary cellular automata (AECAs) was explored in the first place by Fates et al. (Complex Systems, 2004) who employed the asymptotic density of cells as a key metric to measure their robustness to stochastic transitions.

Beyond the streetlight: a TREAT‐AD perspective on where to find new Alzheimer's targets
Abstract Despite extensive investments in Alzheimer's disease (AD) therapeutic development, progress toward effective interventions remains modest. The landscape of potential novel therapeutic strategies is rapidly growing, but prioritization, validation, and tools to advance targets to trial are lagging.

Comment on “Universal Relation between the Kolmogorov-Sinai Entropy and the Thermodynamical Entropy in Simple Liquids” [PDF]
The intriguing relations between Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy and self diffusion coefficients and the excess (thermodynamic) entropy found by Dzugutov and collaborators do not appear to hold for hard sphere and hard disks systems.
